Pastor Johnnie Simpson serves as Senior Pastor of St. Mary's United Methodist Church and Riverside United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas. His ministry extends beyond the pulpit into the public square, where he serves on the Dickinson City Council.

Prior to becoming a pastor, Pastor Simpson worked as and AV/IT field service engineer assisting with designing, installing, and supporting technology systems. Pastor Johnnie is still involved in technology even as he pastors a church.

When he's not preaching, serving the community, or coaching leaders, he enjoys spending time with his wife Lataya and their three children.
